The socotrans research group organized an internal workshop to wrap up and celebrate the end of the FWF-funded project Rethinking Translation Expertise: A Workplace Study (Retrex). Apart from acknowledging the project success with a get-together, we recapitulated the whole project, discussed theoretical and methodological issues, our outputs, team dynamics, and learnings. With a smile and a heavy heart, we are now ready to close the project and journey on towards our next research adventures.
