The Socotrans team was happy to host an international workshop and networking meeting (13th September 2022) at the Centre for Translation Studies at the University of Vienna. The tree guest researchers Gökhan Fırat (University of Surrey, UK), Annamari Korhonen (Tampere University, Finland) and Celia Martín de León (Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain) attended a short presentation of the RETREX research project and shared insights into their own research projects. The exchange ended with a fruitful discussion and a relaxed little get-together for face-to-face networking.
